RULES & REGULATIONS Eligibility
All men and women who have joined the Great River Golf Club Tournament Association are eligible. Players must be at least 18 years old to participate.

Conduct Violations
• All competitors participating in tournaments shall adhere to the USGA Rules of Golf and Great River Golf Club Rules and Regulations.

• Violations of Conduct can be interpreted as being violations and include, but are not limited to the following:
–Intentional and/or malicious damages to the golf course, clubhouse, facilities, golf facility equipment and/or golf carts.
–Intentional throwing, breaking or destruction of golf clubs.
–Loud, profane, crude and/or abusive language deemed to be offensive to participants.
–Violation of any rule and/or regulation of Great River Golf Club policies.
–Cheating in any form.
–Supplying false and inaccurate handicap information.
–Unjustified discontinuance of play.
–Failure of any participant who has submitted an official entry to appear for play at the appointed time.



Entry Deadline

Deadline entry for each event is 7 days prior to each event. Entries after event deadline are allowed only if there is availability. Entries close 2 days prior to event regardless of availability. Tournament Association members may sign up for any event beginning Saturday April 7th.

Waiting List
Players may be put on waiting list if there is full participation for an event. The procedure for players being chosen may vary depending on the tournament format.

Cancellation
There is a 48-hour cancellation period before each event. This is to insure persons on the waiting list get a chance to substitute. Failure to cancel within 48-hours of the event will result in the player being charged a greens fee.

Payment & Refunds
For tournaments that require an entry fee the payment is due by the day of the event prior to tee off. Refunds will only be issued if there is a discontinuance pf play or some type of emergency or reasonable cause.

Pace of Play
All players are required to adhere to the pace of play policy, which is 15 minutes per hole. Players must also play at all times without undue delay. This means the player has 40 seconds to take a swing. timing begins when it is the player's turn to play. Groups must also sustain their position on the course. Groups are deemed to be out of position when they exceed the 15 minute per hole mark, or they have an open par 4 or par 5 in front of them.
