Imus is Coming to Great River!
The staff at Great River is responsible to excel in our relationships with our guests,
co-workers and those we come in contact with within the community. We realize
there are many that are not as fortunate as we are.
Not always recognized for his support in raising millions of dollars for various
charities, Don Imus, now featured on 770 WABC Radio, will be joining Great River’s
staff in their fund raising efforts with a September 24th charity golf outing to raise
money for the Imus Ranch for Kids with Cancer.
The Ranch website describes its purpose: As a working cattle ranch the objectives
for the kids are to encourage in them a sense of achievement, responsibility and
self-esteem through hard work and fun, while restoring their pride and dignity.
Participants at the Ranch include kids suffering from cancer or serious blood disorders,
and children who´ve lost brothers and sisters to Sudden Infant Death
Syndrome (SIDS).”
