Mission Statement

“In my quest to make every golfer perform to the best of their ability I realized a long time ago that I had to teach the entire game to the entire person,” says Tom Rosati. Our goal at the Tom Rosati Golf Academy is to teach the fundamentals of the game to players of all levels and develop each student’s ability beyond their expectations while at the same time instilling a love and appreciation for the game that extends well beyond this unique experience. At the Academy we accomplish this goal by merging world-class instruction programs with a top-notch practice facility and state-of-the-art technology.

Private Lesson

Private, one-hour lessons are available all year round from our PGA golf professional. One-on-one instruction will be provided at our driving range and short-game practice facility. Our professional will also utilize swing analysis equipment.

The pre-booked series includes (6) single-day range passes good after 1:00 pm. Series must be completed within the same calendar year and outstanding lessons will not be honored in the following year.

*Lesson series must be pre-booked, scheduled on a routine cycle and prepaid in order to receive series rate.

9-Hole Playing Lesson

Group Lessons

Group lessons provide an opportunity to work with our PGA golf professional in a relaxed setting with friends, family, or spouse. Players of mixed abilities can set up their own lesson packages based on the needs of their game and focus on areas of improvement.

Serving Westport, Orange, Fairfield, New Haven, Stamford, Norwalk, CT, & Beyond

Our junior camps and other programs feature a teaching and coaching staff comprised of PGA professionals as well as local college team golf coaches and college players. The junior programs at the Golf Academy are about learning golf in a fun, supportive, and positive environment. Our Level Achievement* advancement program evaluates students and places them based on their age, experience, goals, and ability level. Each level consists of a structured program of evaluation, instruction, practice, and course play that leads to individual player development. Specific instruction is developed and implemented to ensure a quality golf experience while promoting progression through the various levels at the same time.

The development of future stars and working with top amateurs and golf professionals has always been a priority at the Academy. For years we have enjoyed developing young players into successful junior, college, and professional players. 2023 Junior Clinic Programs

Our Junior Clinic Programs are designed for beginner to intermediate junior golfers from ages 7-14. Students’ skills are evaluated prior to beginning instruction through our unique Level Achievement Program. Our youngest golfers begin in our “Pre-Swing” Level. This utilizes the SNAG© (Starting New At Golf) Program, a unique and fun interactive golf system combining mini-golf with full-swing components.

Students who graduate from our “Pre-Swing” Level or begin our program with an understanding of basic fundamentals will start at Level 1. Here they learn an introduction to the main components of the game, including putting, chipping, full swing basics, and basic golf terminology. At the end of each clinic series, students can test their skills and knowledge to move into higher levels of our Level Achievement Program.

Our Junior Clinics are geared towards those students looking to start learning the game of golf. After meeting with the student, if our professional staff feels they have the knowledge and skills for more in-depth instruction, he or she will be recommended to attend our half-day or full-day golf camp programs.

The Level 1 workbook includes putting, chipping, and full-swing basics. Your child will also learn golf terminology and basic golf rules. Additionally, they will learn to identify and label parts of the golf club and golf course components. They will have the opportunity to take a ride on the course in our infamous “White Shuttle Cart,” but they will not be playing on the course in the Junior Clinic Program. Any junior who previously attended our clinics and passed Level 1 will move on to Level 2 after a brief review. Any junior golfer needing to start Level 3 or higher (and over age 10) is recommended to attend one of our day camp programs.

2023 Half Day Camps

This is a great opportunity for the kids from our clinic programs to learn more and move up in our Level Achievement Program. Our curriculum will be very similar to our intermediate full day camp with the exception of course play. We will get on the course to learn etiquette and rules, but play will be limited. The majority of the time will be spent in our 5 teaching stations learning all areas of the game of golf.
